Orchard Park Trip

There are no in room hair dryer , and I asked for one from front desk and they never brought me one .

Our stay was 3 nights. Second day we requested room be serviced. We called repeatedly through out the day to no avail. Finally on the third day we requested a room change in order to get a clean room. On that third night at about 3am someone tried entering our room. I called the desk and was informed they were unaware our room was occupied. Other than that the hotel restaurant had excellent menu. Staff was good. Shuttle to airport was available.

Have stayed here in the past and things have changed, not for the better. We chose to come back because we liked the relaxed atmosphere of the bar and the good restaurant. There is no longer a restaurant, the bar is playing loud music, and the vibe is more of a happy hour place than I quieter place for travelers. The food offerings were not good. Looking around people left their food barely touched. There are no gluten free options. There is only one person behind the bar and she seemed overwhelmed and was very loud. The rooms and history of the hotel is so cool. But we had to order food from DoorDash and couldn’t stay long in the bar due to the noise. Very disappointed because it was a really cool place.

The breakfast was incredible, the room was cute and the staff was attentive! The only thing that would have made it better was if I could have stayed longer!

Large pieces of broken glass on the floor outside the closet. Room carpeting was noticeably unvacuumed with plastic tags on the floor from new clothing of previous inhabitant. The safe was also not working. Called the front desk, described my issues, requested another room. Desk manager came up, apologized, handed me a key for a room on a different floor. I showed him the glass he really didn’t care so much nor did anyone help us move to the other room. We made 2 trips, no big deal. Not cheap but relatively not expensive, comes with breakfast, there’s a shuttle for restaurant travel, but the hotel is very tired and staff is touch and go. No housekeeping or water bottle replacement on Sundays. It’s a bargain for families with young kids because of the breakfast. No one should ever have broken glass on the floor of their room.
