"The new owners are working hard to refresh this historic property. The seaside location is a gem and the staff members are friendly and attentive (special shout-out to Julia). The full breakfast is a wonderful benefit, and my mahi-mahi dinner was absolutely delicious! An added bonus is the proximity to another excellent restaurant, as well as a scuba center for those who come to Statia to dive. Thanks to Peter and Jeanette and your amazing staff!"

La propriétaire a « manqué notre réservation » : donc logement pas préparé à notre arrivée. "Arrived late, well advanced noticed sent to owner. Was met by a man at hotel who showed us suite and gave us keys and wifii password. This man told us the owner will comeby the following day. "Hemmie is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met! He made me feel so at home from day 1. I was on the island for an exam and Hemmie made my stay less stressful by serving delicious breakfast every morning and offering to give me free dinner. He even offered to drive me to and from school, which was a bonus! The place itself is just marvellous! All the antique furnitures made me feel like I was really on vacation. The view is also breathtaking! You go out to the balcony and you see the ocean along with the view of the island. If you want to visit Saba, you have to stay at Selera’s. Not only is Hemmie a wonderful host, the hotel itself is beautiful and so so peaceful! "
