"The pool was really cold. The check out time posted differed from room (11 v 12). The breakfast was okay (clearly down sized due to economy). The walls were thin and guests were banging around until 4 am. It was okay, but not a place I’d return to based on experiences at other local hotels/motels that were better. A decent cheap stay."

"Saltwater Inn was fabulous! It was a beautiful spot that overlooked the Westport Marina. The rooms were recently remodeled, clean and was an incredible management team. We will contine going back!!"

"Breakfast was very good. Front office staff was very nice!! The room however was terrible. The floors were dirty and slippery. There was dirt and dead bugs all over!! There were not enough towels to accommodate us in the bath and the microwave area. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights and had to leave after 2 nights. They stated we were get a refund of the 3rd night. I asked if we would be compensated for all the issues we dealt with in the room. She was going to see what she could do. We have stayed there many times before and will again. We never expected how things were. "

"We enjoyed the cottage, especially the electric fireplace with driftwood and the front porch facing the marina. A few repairs might be helpful to refresh cottage #12: the left hand reading light by the queen bed is broken, and there is a sticky stain on the bathroom floor. We were comfortable and slept well while there."
