"The hotel was a good standard travel lodge kind of place, nothing too special but totally suitable for what I needed. Only issue was the restaurant closed at 8pm and there was no iron in the room but other than that is was perfectly adequate for my needs. Road noise was also an issue but given where the hotel is located i am not surprised. Would I stay here again...... probably yes."

Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures. The welcome and customer service was overlooked and...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."
