"I selected this hotel before arriving because it was one of the lowest cost options and still included a 5th floor outside club deck area with a pool and hot tub along with shaded chairs and a refreshments area. The city busses, hop-on hop-off busses and tour busses stop right in front of the hotel. There were two ground floor booths that helped us book tours and activities. It had shopping stores, restaurants, a grocery store and parking garages within a few minutes walk as well as parking in the hotel itself. It was a 1 mile walk to the Waikiki beach, if you didn't take a bus. It included a full buffet breakfast that was simply wonderful. The buffet provided various juices, breads, bagels, sweet rolls, pancakes, yogurt, milk, cereal, cooked mixed vegetables, rice, mixed egg types, sausages, bacon, oatmeal, fresh oranges and bananas and everything to put on them, They also provided a daily newspaper that I read with breakfast every morning. There were two computers and a printer in the lobby for checking in to things and printing tickets and boarding passes. The only negative things to say is that there was usually a long line to talk to someone in the lobby and the in hotel parking was on a first in basis so if you left the hotel parking ramp there was no guarantee you would find parking there when you returned. Luckily the Waikiki public parking ramp, next to the Ross store, was half a mile away and always available and had a $50 a day maximum rate just like the hotel."

"For context, my trip lasted 4 nights and I had a queen bed all to myself. For those of you who already keep your spaces pretty tidy and don't have too much company, the stay is absolutely perfect! If you have kids (or adult children...) who are prone to make a mess/not clean up for themselves, the three day cleaning protocol may give headaches. I also bought the daily parking, which does sell out (I bought the last spot!). Even when I arrived to the hotel past midnight on multiple nights, there was always a spot for me since I bought the parking pass. The staff are lovely, the area is nice and an easy walk to the beach (for those who can walk more than 10 minutes). Again, I would highly recommend this spot for solo travelers who need a convenient place to sleep but may be a pass for big families or groups. Note, I did not use the laundry service or pool so I cannot comment on those amenities."

"Second time staying. Great location, beautiful stretch of private beach. Get the impression the staff could be a little more attentive. Waiting staff morale seems low. Basic asks feel like too much work for them. On the plus side the room is comfortable and quiet but could do with a bit of updating. Feels a bit tired. AC in the hotel blasts far far too cold, imagine how much energy could be saved if they just set it at the right temperature. Poolside dining options could use some work."

"We had an amazing experience at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach. Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect—close to everything and just a short walk to the beach. The property is beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views. Breakfast was amazing, with delicious food and a beautiful view. We also really enjoyed having two restaurants right on the property, which made dinner very convenient, and the food was excellent as well. What really stood out was the service. Every employee we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. Overall, a beautiful property with great views, delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!"
