"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot...
"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"5 stars – Peaceful and Comfortable Stay in June Lake
We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines Inn in June Lake. We booked a one-bedroom unit with a kitchenette, and it felt like a cozy little apartment. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location was perfect for exploring the lakes and hiking trails nearby.
The front office wasn’t staffed during our visit, but there was a sign with a phone number to call or text. The person we contacted was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, this was a great place to relax and recharge after a day of outdoor adventures. We would definitely stay here again."
"I loved the quirky Motel. So much character. It’s right across from Mona Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets . We had a porch with two chairs and every night we watch the stars. Our room also had a refrigerator with a little eating table by the window. Loved it!"
"The property is beautiful and such a pretty drive from June or Silver Lake. The restaurant was meh, but everything else was great. The views are incredible, and the pool/spa area was amazing!"
