What an amazing experience. The room was clean, great shower with hot water and comfy bed. The food was incredible. The views were amazing. The hosts were so communicative. Picked us up and had dinner waiting on arrival. They thoughtfully put the heater on in our room so was super cosy. They even had hair straighteners. This place is truly a haven.

The setting is stunning and so peaceful. Tents are comfortable and the shuttle service into town is a great addition. Food here was also great, special shout out to Miguel WiFi was the only let down.

Very clean. Great and very helpful staff. Huge thank you to Jose (concierge) who had to run after us after we checked out to hand over my husband's headphones, which we left behind! This is so much appreciated! Great breakfast. Very comfortable room. Lovely rooftop heated pool.

The hotel was a little hard to find but when we did we were welcomed with a lovely smile from the receptionist. This is a delightful hotel run by local people and every staff member was very friendly and warm with the smiles. We used this hotel as a base while we explored Machu Picchu. This meant that we could leave our large rucksacks at the hotel while we travelled on to Agua Calientes. When we returned the whole town was in darkness as they were experiencing a power cut. But this added to the...

We had an excellent stay at Kamma Guesthouse. Liz was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was lovely and a perfect start to the day. The location is excellent, just a minute’s walk from the main square, making it ideal for exploring Ollantaytambo. The beds were very comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and there was always plenty of hot water after a long day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kamma Guesthouse to...

Great place exceedingly helpful and friendly staff, theyhelped book a taxi tour to Pisa and animal sanctuary. Short walk to town square, there is a river nearby it is soothing noise but if a light sleeper bring earplugs. Good room, comfortable bed heavy comforter if you are cold. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to anyone staying in ollytambo

Hotel is fantastic with a very good breakfast choice , our flight was delayed and they waited until 11.30 pm for us to arrive and accommodated a slightly later check out . It’s family run and you get such a warm welcome as well as great recommendations of how best to spend your time .

The hotel is in a good location, in a quiet residential area, but still 10 minutes walk to the centre, and about 15-20 minutes walk to the train station. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Property was in a beautiful setting a short walk away from Plaza de Armas. If you have wheeled luggage contact them when you arrive at the square for assistance. Rooms were clean and simple. Breakfast was lovely, simple but tasty, the crusty bread loved by us all. Staff were friendly and happy to help. A unique and memorable stay, one of my favourites.

Very kind and helpful staff

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. I’m very happy that we chose this hotel. It looks family run, provided a free breakfast that suited us fine, including eggs done as you choose. It has great views, plus a rooftop seating area. It’s in walking distance to wherever we chose to go. Be aware that it involves some uphill walking to get to it, but that is typical of the town.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Ollantayambo. We stayed in a ‘bungalow’ which was on 2 floors. Kingsize bed with bathroom and seating area upstairs and double bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs and very nicely furnished with good views over the countryside. There was a small kitchen area with a microwave but bizarrely no crockery or cutlery. Kettle and teabags supplied but no coffee(!) Set in expansive gardens with alpacas wandering freely around. Comfortable room but beware the train...

Amazing staff service. My partner fell unwell on the train and we booked this hotel in ‘emergency’ fashion. Reception staff gave us a room upgrade, insisted on sending a steady supply of herbal tea and fruit to our room,

Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley.

One of the warmest hotel experience I’ve ever had! The team is so attentive, knowledgeable and caring. They also have two spacious and stylish living rooms, and a very cosy garden with wonderful Mountain View. Samanapag is a hidden gem in Ollantaytambo, I guarantee.
