"Great hotel in the heart of the city! We loved our room on the top floor and the staff was very kind. We did see a few ants in the bathroom, but other than that a lovely stay. "
"This place is amazing, very clean, very picturesque, and great location. 5 mins walk from the main square. Ruth and Alex were brilliant hosts. Would highly recommend this place"
"We had a wonderful time at Parwa House. Jorge and family were amazing. We enjoyed our stay -our room was clean, food was excellent quality, and the service made us feel at home.
We will be back!"
"The floor is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. He helped us to print some tickets. Although he speaks Spanish, and we speak in English, it is not a problem as long as we can google translate, and he is really willing to help us. I felt being well taken care of. The best hotel in my Peru trip!"
"The hotel recently changed their name to Tierra Viva. We were not aware of that so there was a bit of confusion when we arrived.
Pros- friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful natural setting. Very close to the train station without being right next to the tracks. Good selection for breakfast. Quaint and charming rooms.
Cons- needs a little updating.(especially the Electrical outlets).
I would definitely stay here again if I return."
"Kudos to the staff who made us feel warm and welcomed!!! Our train was late arriving and they stayed late to welcome us and take our luggage to our room; all with enthusiasm and warmth!! The room was updated big spacious with a view to die for. A big draw for me was the king size bed. In other countries it is so hard to find accommodations that offer a king size bed; it was so comfy!!! We sprung for a balcony overlooking the mountains/running river and we are soooooo glad we did!!! To wake up two separate mornings with this in the back drop was such a blessing!!! I thank God for this location, staff, the cleanliness of our room, the hotel, the breakfast presentation, and the unique character of Ollantaytambo which I love to say!! They are constantly working on upgrading the amenities of their hotel but they do it so discreetly you do not hear them and they almost make themselves invisible as not to disturb your visit. I have never experienced that before. Kudos!!! Blessings to all of you and thank you for helping My Husband and I make this one of many trips of a lifetime!!!"
