"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. Recommendations were suggested by hotel staff, with a mobile pizza stand just next door. If arriving late at night and travelling alone, you won't have far to walk."

"Property was nice but definitely an older property. Run down. Needs a face lift and upgrade. We upgraded to the premium room and it was just ok. It was 2 stories which’s worked for us but probably should have been noted. It was kinda inconvenient having the 2 nd floor, getting the suitcases up there and constantly going up and down. But awesome views. The room was old looking. Overall just needs to be updated. The fridge was tiny. Nothing fit in it. Hotel needs ice machines. Maybe another restaurant. It’s very far away from everything so if you are looking for quiet it’s great but if you want to go out to eat or shop there is nothing around. There is a free shuttle to town Papeete which was great but it needs to go more often. It only goes twice a day and never near meal times so you are always rushed back to eat at the hotel again. And no shuttle on Sundays. Regarding food at the hotel. It was very good. We obviously ate many meals there and they were always good. Great happy hour everyday. The staff was always friendly and nice. Overall nice hotel just older"

"Great location close to cruise port and ferry port! Wish it had a pool and washcloths in the bathroom at least. Nice size rooms. Expensive restaurant and bar but similar to others in the area. "

"The property was amazing! Our room was so comfortable and the views were stunning! We were offered an option to store our luggage after checkout the next day. Our flight was still another 14 hrs wait time! We stayed on the property and enjoyed the pool and chairs. The only problem was after mid-day there was no one to offer us waters to buy or any food. To be clear, we had purchased breakfast at the property, and we purchased 2 beers around noon. After that there was just no service through the day. Not even waters. I wish that could have been different since we were outside all day since 11:00 am. The day-room was a great haven since you can shower and dress before going to the airport that night. "

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."
