"This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "From our arrival to our departure the staff and management were excellent. The reception staff dealt with our room enquiries superbly with a friendly and professional attitude. The bar staff were excellent. The room was fantastic with beautiful colours and furniture. The bed was very very good. All technical requirements were there and the "extras" in the room were great, complimentary water and snacks. A complimentary bottle of fizz was the icing on tbe cake. Breakfast was in the outside patio and the offering coveted all our needs. The situation in Catania is great for the city walking tours. We will definetly return and recommend to friends and family."
