"We chose Hotel Indigo as we came to Madison for a family weekend at the university - pretty much based on availability and location. Turned out to be a super-good choice! The room was not huge but lovely, the food excellent (we had one dinner there as there are so many options in town), and most of all, the staff was fabulous. "The Saddlery was a unique experience being a bit of a historical building. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Executive Loft with a kitchen and spacious sitting area. It had a wonderful view of the lake, was very quiet. Close to a few nice amenities and downtown. Wished we could stay longer. "
