"I appreciated the laundry availability.
The room was clean and the staff friendly.
The only problem was the pool lights (no water in pool yet) were on all night. making our room lighter than optimal. "
"So this resort golf club was overall very clean! It’s an older resort probably built in the 70’s!! Definitely needs a lot of updating! The flooring looked fairly newer! The furniture was old! I’m sure in its day it was beautiful! The golf course grounds were beautiful to see looking out the sliding door to your patio area! But when we went outside the patio was dirty, full of debris and spider/cobb webs! And in between the sliding doors it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time!! You wouldn’t want to sit out there for sure unless you cleaned it yourself!! It was a pet friendly room so possibly other rooms were nicer!! IDK! The comforter was old and didn’t look nice at all! Ugly brown! Again pet friendly! The spa bathtub didn’t work… I think probably the motor had been taken out! But tub was nice and deep! Ran out of hot water before it was done filling! But it didn’t take long to get hot water again! It was a great room for our 2 small pups! The bed was hard and very uncomfortable! Someone with a few million dollars needs to come and renovate the whole property! In it’s heyday I’m sure it was amazing! Price was way too high for the room we had but probably paid for the view and property!! Restaurant food was amazing! A burger to die for and a chicken breast pasta dinner! Excellent meals!! That helped to make our stay more enjoyable! It was a last minute reservation because there weren’t any pet friendly rooms available at any other hotels in Hollister CA! "
