The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. "We had a lovely few days in Painswick at the Cotswold lodge. The lodge is spacious, modern, full functional with everything you need for a holiday. The location is perfect for the Cotswolds as a base and painswick is a lovely quiet village with pubs and a small store. We would recommend this location but it is very hilly so you either have to be able to walk or drive a car. Rococo gardens is really interesting."

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here and this time was just as good as the first! It’s very dog friendly, our room was spacious and clean and the staff (and guests!) were all really friendly. We ate in the bar one evening. I’m a pescatarian and I had the Nourish Salad Bowl with crispy smoked tofu. I’m not always the keenest on tofu however this meal was absolutely delicious! My partner had the Sausage and Fennel Ragu and he loved that too. Looking forward to our next visit already! "
