"Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground...

"What a wonderful stay, we were upgraded to a deluxe room for my husbands 40th without us even asking so that was a lush surprise and very welcome. The staff everywhere were all really attentive and informative. We only had breakfast here but it was absolutely delicious, I would 100% recommend and visit again."

"Lovely hotel near the Malverns and close to a railway station from where regular direct trains run to Hereford, Ledbury, Malvern and Worcester- handy for day trips. Offered help with luggage on arrival. Room spacious, but some units could do with refresh. Breakfast could be better, with fruit only offered as an alternative to cooked, rather than as well as. Decent cooked to order options though. For dinner, good selection of meats from local farm. The pastry on my pie was overly hard albeit contents very good, and veg could have been cooked better. Pleasant modern bar next to the restaurant. Overall, a pleasant stay and the Malvern Hills are great for a walk with wonderful views in all directions."

"Under new group and nothing like when it was a Best Western. The Spa pool was still out of order. We were there in October and it was broken. There was not the warm and friendly feel we’ve received for the last six years. It was very false. I’m not worried about fresh linen in my room, totally agree with only on request, but a clean cup and glass and tea etc being replenished would have been very welcomed. Not the same hotel and won’t be returning."

"What a great resort. Lovely clean environment with great views and friendly people who work there. We stayed in an opulant suite King Richard lll room on the top floor and it was such a lovely big room with all amenities you need. Big bath, his and hers vanity....double wetroom and all the tech I would need with usb ports in sockets. Bramley wash products and great big comfy bed with lovely comfy pillows. The views were amazing and setting. The breakfast is big and hearty and great selection from cooked to cereals and pastries and all you would need to start the day. The pool facilities are clean and well presented and the steam room is a nice temp then you can jump in a lovely jacuzzi. We ate in the restaurant one eve and and we had duck and goat curry which was ok. Thank you for a great stay. Xx"
