"The room was clean and well lit. The king size bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. Overall Villa 1565 is a nice place to stay with many attractions that are within walking distance."

"For the price I really can’t complain. Especially when it does include a basic hot breakfast which is much better than the typical continental breakfast at most places. My only issue was the train. There is nothing the hotel can do about it, but there is a crossing close to the hotel. The first night I was there the train went through 5 times blowing the horn 4 times at each pass. The rest of the time it was twice a night. If you are a light sleeper of struggle to fall back asleep keep that in mind. "

"This is not even a 2-star hotel. What was frightening was we found the toilet paper on the roll was yellow stained and had been left to soak in something dirty. We didn’t notice it right away due to the lighting in the bathroom. The thought makes me sick because we used it! The toilet tank water was turned off when we arrived, needed an adjustment in the tank linkage to work properly and stop running once the water was turned on. It was obvious this wasn’t working properly! The exhaust fan didn’t work, either. The fridge freezer was overloaded with thick ice, too. I reported the TP issue to the front desk. The desk personnel were very good. But, the nasty TP roll was left for the manager and we never heard back. I would not advise staying here—the maintenance issues and lack of concern regarding cleanliness is unacceptable."

"The front desk were excellent nice and friendly but housekeeping did a real bad job in our room and on one of the days they didn’t clean our room and we had to call so they could at least give us towels and throw out the trash! The carpet in the hallway are done so bad that I couldn’t roll my suitcase and they look very dirty! My husband and I were very disappointed and lastly the room I booked I did that get I book a room with a couch and I got a little desk and chair. Very disappointed "
