"The high number of stars for this hotel must be due to the location. And what a location it is! A beautiful deck overlooking Lake Nokomis, a fire pit, and beach along the shore. Absolutely beautiful. However, the rooms themselves were fairly old and tired, although perfectly adequate. The bedspreads were frayed, the mattresses - though comfortable - sagged, and the toilets were so close to the floor that my 80-something mother had a hard time using it. There were also a lot of cracked tiles in the bathroom. But all in all it was a great place to stay and to be right on the lake was idyllic."

"What a wonderful gem of a hotel! Very pretty setting with lakeview rooms. The rooms are spacious and super clean. Our room was newly renovated, and well designed (except no closet???). The staff is wonderful! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great morning breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I just needed a place to sleep and this Inn more than fit the bill. Easy no-contact check in. Spacious. Clean. A couple bugs got in but thatโ€™s to be expected in that area and not an issue with the hotel. The room had a fly swatter. I found the beds to be comfortable. If I find myself in that area again I would stay there. Itโ€™s a quick walk across the street to a gas station for ice, food, anything else you may need. I read some reviews beforehand about noise, so I brought ear plugs but honestly I didnโ€™t hear much of anything from the neighboring units."
