The Marmoris Camelia, is a fantastic boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and facilities and great service.

Hostel is great! Owner is super helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had a perfect stay here. The staff were absolutely charming and so helpful and friendly, anticipating needs and helping with queries/ bookings, even providing some masterful help with a tricky chess move! - we felt totally spoilt. Even the taxi firm they use has great drivers who give excellent tips on where to visit. The hotel itself is newly refurbished with great facilities and decor. You can see how much thought and care went into making it comfortable and stylish. Sao Martinho itself...

On welcome the staff were brilliant, The area was noteworthy, This place is great as the history makes the hotel richer. You will need to carry luggage up a hill.

Rooms very clean and comfortable Staff friendly and helpful good location and lovely breakfast

The cleanliness, the staff always willing to help, the nearby transport, the quiet location, and the lit fireplace in the dining room created a very welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent within the city walls in an historic building. Right in the heart of the old town. Lovely courtyard to sit in in the evening or have breakfast. It had everything we needed. You have to park outside the city walls and wheel in your luggage but it's an ancient walled town and pedestrian so that's its charm.

What a gem of a place. Hosts Celine and Fabian were very friendly and accomodating. They have 3 rooms in a homestay with lovely continental breakfast, including fresh eggs, orange juice, bread, tea, coffee abd cereals. You can use the outdoor kitchen complete with bbq by the pool and they preapre bbq packs at an additional cost. Our room was the smallest of the 3 but we fitted in with 2 large suitcases and hand luggage no problem. Comfortable double bed, great power shower, small fridge, TV and...

The team at the front desk, restaurants and those who are driving the shuttle deserve a huge amount of plaudits. They make the place run smoothly. Cheila on the front desk could not have been more helpful and helped us organise Snorkelling in Berlenga and Surfing in Peniche. The apartment and pool were perfect for the 6 of us. We didn’t play golf but the courses looked gorgeous

When I booked I requested a ground floor room. A walk in shower not over a bath and a quiet room. We were offered a room across the road from the main hotel. It was basic but very comfortable. Nice and quiet away from all the celebrations of the World Cup. I would definitely stay there again. Within walking distance of the beach and all other amenities. Staff were fantastic and would definitely recommend.

Good value and nice central location

Lovely peaceful location with views over vineyard, fabulous stylish room and bathroom and good breakfast including excellent omelette. Didn’t use the pool.
