Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified.

This is a lovely hotel. Most of all the staff... so so nice! The room didn't have airco which for some could be an issue. The room was very nice but there is a road in front that is busy and a bit loud. However, the staff is excellent, friendly and the breakfast was very very good. Would i stay again? Yes.

The air conditioning was brilliant and very much appreciated. I always find hotel rooms too hot, but my room this time was very cool, in a heatwave. I would have appreciated a bottle of water in the room, but otherwise everything was perfect.

I stayed here for a couple of nights for a recent business trip and found this hotel to be fantastic. In my job role I have to travel quite a lot and therefore stay in a lot of hotels... I can safely say that I believe this hotel is one of the best, if not thee best hotel I have ever stayed in. It has everything you could possible wish for in a hotel. The pictures are NOT colour photo shopped...the rooms have NOT been shot in panoramic and it is a real castle with led lit driveway at night and lovely grounds to walk or play with kids (there is also a small petting zoo).
A fab romantic getaway for couples or families with kids ...with amazing bedrooms, ensuite bathroom and separate sitting room-we were given a choice of two rooms.
