Its very noisy because the do construction in the hotel and i couldn't sleep well, i complained to the manager but still not stop the drilling without given notice or any apologize.

The hotel was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially ladies at the restaurant and cleaning staff. The breakfast was good, the room was clean. Overall had a great stay. The only problem is- Orbitz says guests can use the gym and spa facilities which is not true, you have to pay around $29 for a gym/spa visit each time you would like to go.

Completely dissapointed, bad management. It was impossible to stay in the room all day due to restoration works. Disappointing management, because unwilling to solve the issue. I have paid for being in vacation and rest and I have ended up in a nigtmare where was impossible to stay in the room and relax. I have spoken several timex with the management and they have been uncapable to find any solution. Overpriced the early check-in; swimming pool available under payment of extra. This hotel is a nightmare never again, they have lost a costumer.

Hotel was good. Execelent location. Personel where very helpful. Good food in the restaurant with reasonable prices. The first floor of the building is hotel, the rest is apartments for politicians and wealthy people. My room was a little outdated and had some renovation in the floor above me. The hammering and drilling started 9-10 and kept going for hours. Had no wifi conection at all in my room. My friend did not have these problems with his room. The breakfast was sparse.

Insane Layout for Hotel Part
This is primarily a spa...and everything is geared to serve spa customers. The hotel on the other hand, it difficult to navigate to. In order to get to your rooms, you have to walk through the restaurant. Only there are two restaurants, one for the hotel and one for the spa. This is not readily apparent to a first time customer. Once you have found your room, you realize there is a set of elevators bear them. They go down to a second lobby...that does not serve the hotel! You cannot check out there, and the staff speaks very little English. Once again, confusing for a first-time customer. Apart from this, the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms spacious and comfortable. the decor is tasteful and current and the furniture is all new or in excellent condition. The staff that I dealt with prior to my arrival was wonderful. She emailed me several times and accommodated my pickup from the airport after it has been delayed, then canceled, then six hours later re-scheduled.

Not a 4-star hotel
When we came to check in at 2:30AM the room was not ready so we had to wait 20min for the room to be prepared. We ordered a twin-bed room and it was at best awfull. The A/C did not work, the beds were 2x70cm with no support, so you would just fall out of the bed. The closet was ruined, the in-room safe was not bolted, it was not possible to lock the bathroom door.. This is just what i remember from the top of my head. After the first night with no sleep we talked to the reception (a man), and he said he could have someone look at the AC, and that was it. I called Hotels.com who cancelled the rest of the booking (supposed to stay there 4 nights), but we still had to pay for the first night. Since I was tired and just wanted to get out of there I accepted it. When we checked out there was a girl at the reception that understood we were really not satified and wanted to make ammence, but then we had booked a new room in a decent hotel.

A nice hotel very close to Arkadia, a 5 min walking distance. Clean room and very nice stuff, friendly and always wants to help. The breakfast is good, but not a lot of choices. The few problems we had was: The bed is double mattress instead of a king one, so it makes it not so comfortable. Sometimes there was a bad smell from the bathroom ??? The SPA is in a additional pay, 800 grn for a person (for a one entrance) so u can come and go. Also this price isn't including the Gym... But i have to say that it's a beautiful spa and the massages are in a reasonable price. Overall a nice place in a very good location at a reasonable price :-)

This was my 5th trip to Ukraine and ironically this hotel was on paper the classiest and most highly rated hotel that I stayed at in my five trips, but, turned out to be the biggest disappointment in all my trips. I want to take my hat off to the Hotel's two employees at the front desk, Olga and Irina. Its because of them I'm giving the hotel an overall rating of "OK". The Ark Palace & Spa web page doesn't mention that the Spa is a private contracting entity and is separate from the Hotel, in other words you must pay separately for this feature. I only used it once because the staff at this Spa was very cold and unfriendly especially the male attendant in the men's locker room on the morning of Tuesday May, 9th at approximately 9:30. I understand their was a language barrier, but his behavior was totally uncalled for, he screamed and yelled at me when I simply asked about locker room procedures and wristband information. When I asked about the wristband, he grabbed my wrist and pointed to the number printed on it and continued to scream and point at the lockers when I realized the number on the wristband was my designated locker. The women in the spa facilities weren't much better, very very cold and distant. The hotel staff with the exception of Olga and Irina at the front desk were very standoffish and impersonal. I won't be back !!

Decent hotel with own restaurant, very tasty. Good location close to Arkadia and nice shopping mall Sady Pobedi. Our 'luxury' suite was clean and cosy, with balcony. Shower and toilet were tiny though... Friendly staff, helpful.

Went for a wedding. Hotel and service was excellent, but somehow lacked personality. No complaints whatsoever, but could use a slightly warmer vibe (place was dead silent the whole time even though the hotel was pretty full).

The main disappointment about my Hotel stay at the Ark Palace was access to the swimming pool and saunas. At no point prior to booking the accommodation was there any mention of the Pool and Sauna being an additional cost? In most modern Hotels a swimming pool is accessible to paying guests and yet the Ark Hotel seems to think that charging 500 grivna per visit is acceptable? I would not have made a booking at all had they been upfront with this information. The breakfast dining room was small and cramped there was no bar or café facilities and the lifts were annoying and strangely no stairs which meant you had no choice.

We booked 2 rooms for 8 days for our son's wedding. We are from Canada and booked through Hotels.com paying for the rooms up front. When we arrived at the hotel they said they never heard of us. Very scary and upsetting. I believe the hotel was overbooked but they said they never got the referral from Hotels. The receptionist spent hours and shed tears trying to find us another place to stay and finally (another long story) they did. Be very careful booking any hotel through Hotels.com.

Great location, not situated near the downtown area nor in the booming construction zone in the Arcadia beach area. Its location next to a large park, shopping mall, restaurants, and supermarket were great. Reception desk were friendly and helpful and spoke English fairly well. A bonus was the reception staff calling a taxi which were affordable. Getting a taxi on one's own risks paying far too much for a taxi, so always book a taxi through the hotel staff for reasonable prices.

Hotel is very well located with large clean rooms. Breakfast was included and it was simple but tasty. Arkadia beach is a ten minute walk away.

Overall a wonderful experience. The girls at the check in desk were VERY pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were absolutely amazing. Quiet atmosphere inside. The only minus was the people who park you. If you're on a luxury car they park you closer but if you are driving an economy car expect to be parked at the far end of the lot even though there will be plenty of space closer. The parking staff was also rude. But screw the parking staff, I give it 5 stars!

Ark Palace Hotel
When you come to the Ark Hotel you should know that the hotel entrance is in the back of the Ark Spa. Your natural inclination is to enter the building in the front but you can not get there from the spa. So go around the back and through a little door to the right and then to the 3rd floor and you will find it. Now once there the staff is great. Absolutely wonderful. I want to go back just because of them. They are very sweet and most professional and you will have a lovely time because of the way that they take care of your needs. Breakfast in the hotel is also very good and I would stay there again. It is even with the initial difficulties a very nice hotel and it is only a short trip to the beach and a short walk to grocery and shops. I liked my stay and the staff was truly wonderful. Thanks to them my visit was super....

Great Hotel with amazing customer service
Hotel is great, cozy and comfortable. Great location close to the huge shopping mall and nice local restaurants and bars. All personal speak good English and were Very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind 2 things with this hotel: 1) access to the swimming pools is $25 extra for hall day but it includes about 10 different saunas and it's a huge SPA facility 2) never take a taxi without asking a concerge or lady at the reception to call taxi company and assign an official taxi for you with fixed rate. If you don't do that you will pay at least 10 times more.

Nice, new hotel close to Arkadia Beach, 10 minutes
The Hotel apartments are on the 3rd and 4th floors of a new Apartment complex. Good, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is adequate. Short walk to Arcadia beach and particularly IBIZA beach (wonderful complex with pools, beach, restraunt and night club).

Small Hotel - a good surprise
The building where the hotel is, is very beautiful and its main attraction is the Spa. Which is very nice. The entrance to hotel was at first hard to find (for a tourist like me) due to lack of signage. You pass the guard (24 hrs), then second door of building into a lobby,there is a person there 24 hrs, then past a door to an elevator and on third floor, turn left and then left again and you get to reception. Reception staff all speak English, so that was great. They are also very pleasant to speak to and helpful. Rooms are small ( I chose the cheapest room) but have a balcony. Bed is comfortable and there is a mini bar. Rooms are clean. The TV is OK but has no English channels. The hotel price includes breakfast and you order it a few minutes before and eat in a small pleasant room with sunlight and fresh air. Breakfast was good. The hotel lists that it has a pool, this is with an additional charge (33 $US) and is in Ark Spa itself. Reception helps you access the spa via elevator and passageways that lead the Ark Spa. Ark Spa is very large and not only has pool but saunas, jacuzzis and much more. The location of the hotel is very good, one minute from Sadi Pobedi which connects via taxi or buses to every point in the city. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they make you feel comfortable and secure. Would stay there again now that I know how to get to it.

Sehr sehr kleines Zimmer 6 qm. Abstellraum.
Das Zimmer bestand aus einem 6qm Raum. Wollte tauschen und wurde von Tag zu Tag verdrössest. Toilette und Bodenbeläge waren dreckig. Waschbecken defekt. Und und und. Nie wieder.

Das Zimmer war schön und gross, Balkon nach hinten (ruhig, aber ohne besondere Aussicht). Badezimmer mit Dusche zweckmässig. Es gab Frühstücksarten zur Auswahl, wobei alle sehr ergiebig und schön angerichtet waren. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend (sowohl Reception als auch Bedienung). Sauna- und Spa-Bereich ist wunderschön! Kompetentes Personal für Beratung und Massagen. Integriertes Restaurant mit vielen Drinks und Speisen. Das 25m-Becken erlaubt richtiges Schwimmen. Fazit: schönes Hotel.
