This is primarily a spa...and everything is geared to serve spa customers. The hotel on the other hand, it difficult to navigate to. In order to get to your rooms, you have to walk through the restaurant. Only there are two restaurants, one for the hotel and one for the spa. This is not readily apparent to a first time customer.
Once you have found your room, you realize there is a set of elevators bear them. They go down to a second lobby...that does not serve the hotel! You cannot check out there, and the staff speaks very little English. Once again, confusing for a first-time customer.
Apart from this, the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms spacious and comfortable. the decor is tasteful and current and the furniture is all new or in excellent condition.
The staff that I dealt with prior to my arrival was wonderful. She emailed me several times and accommodated my pickup from the airport after it has been delayed, then canceled, then six hours later re-scheduled.
