"The room had a musty odor, repairs needed to lock on sliding door. Bathroom didnt have a fan, bathtub needs refinishing refrigerator froze our food. Parking is convenient, no breakfast offered but IHOP is attached to the motel Very little interaction with the staff. I would not recommend this facility. It is old and needs updating."

"The negative: Lighting in the room was awful, especially if you don’t get one with a view. Trying to work the TV with the remote became the bane of my existence. Bathroom doors was second to that. This next one I understand isn’t really something the staff can control, but be careful walking from the Quarter to the hotel late at night, especially in front of the Brother’s store on Carondelet and Common St. Especially after midnight; take an Uber. We went into the store to purchase snacks and water for the room, and ran into an NOPD officer across the way who warned us to be careful at that store due to frequent criminal activity. There are some shady characters that seemed to hang out in front of that store everyday and night, but to be fair, we didn’t experience any issues, other than having to be more alert. The breakfast (that we had to pay for even though we supposedly paid for it upon booking), wasn’t anything to write home about. The positive: Staff were super friendly and helpful, service was great as it is in all other places in New Orleans we have visited. Walkability to the Quarter was super convenient. Same with the Street Car stations around the area. Bottom line: Affordable hotel located in the CBD, with great walkability to the Quarter, river, Warehouse District, Superdome. Great if you’re young and/or not traveling with children. However we will stay elsewhere in the future, just not our cup of tea"

"The people work there seems pretty new. They are not familiar with what they are doing. I have different experiences to get the breakfast voucher with different people during my stay. I just don't understand why they don't have a list of people they booked room with breakfast at dinning room instead we have to go to front desk for voucher every day. Also, I fund number of towels have color stain on them."

"Once you get over the fact that this hotel is connected to a hospital, it was fine but weird seeing nurses walking around. The room had bit of a sticky area in the space by the beds. Other than that the room was clean and spacious. Side note - make sure that you bring your own shampoo and conditioner as this wasnt provided. There were 2 small bars of soap in the bathroom, but bringing your own is better."

"Hotel needs an upgrade. Walls, floors are paperthin. You can hear everything around, above and beneath you. Dead roaches were under my bed. Staff was nice. A/C works good. Water is hot. Look for better options!"

"Room was clean but advertised as a hotel, is a motel. Outdoor hallways were stained and smelled bad. The breakfast team did not seem at all happy with their work. They closed down breakfast items early, we we asked for help they were frustrated with us. When other patrons asked for help she slammed equipment in frustration. The front desk staff member who was older at 3pm was rude during check in. Overall I did not enjoy my stay overall and will not be returning under any circumstance."
