"My stay at the Oceanside Days Inn was very welcome after a difficult drive from Los Angeles. I got caught in wildfire traffic and even had to drive through areas affected by the fires—something I had never experienced before. I was only about 16 miles from Oceanside when traffic on Interstate 5 came to a complete stop. About four hours later, I was among the first travelers to get through and finally made it to the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and warm. They told me how to reach the beach and recommended a path where I could enjoy the restaurants and watch the sunset. I followed their directions, and it was a really nice experience. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The only issue I encountered was with the showerhead, which was pointed toward the wall instead of toward me. I couldn’t adjust it, so I let the staff know afterward. Check-out was quick and easy, and I would happily stay here again."

"This is our first time staying at this hotel, and there are no words to describe our stay. The staff is INCREDIBLE! The front desk and housekeeping teams made us feel welcome and provided everything we needed. The location is perfect, plenty of restaurants, coffee shop’s , and a gas station nearby. Without a doubt, it’s the ideal spot for anyone on the road. Thank you!"

"Overall this was a nice hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was nice. The parking was free. The location is walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The only thing I was not too thrilled about was the deposit. Instead of putting a "hold" on the credit card they will charge your credit card the full deposit amount. You will get a refund eventually, it just depends on how long it takes your credit card company to refund your account. Or you have the option to pay cash for the deposit and you will get your cash back at check out, after the housekeeper inspects your room. I chose paying cash and had no problem getting the cash back. All of this information is stated on their website. I didn't notice it at first, so I thought I would share it. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great location and a lovely property, rooms also very well appointed. Fantastic views. Slight downside is very limited restaurant and bars which are shut more than open. Last orders at the pool for a drink around 3:30. Poor variety on menus too. Plenty of places to dine out though, so their loss. Tip: park across the street for much less than the valet price."
