My husband and I stayed here last night and it was the worst experience ever!!! We got in very late, came in and fell asleep. When I woke I discovered mold all over the bathroom, dried blood splatters on the bed my husband and I slept in. Along with pink sticky stains! This is absolutely unacceptable. I informed the from desk employee as we checked out (as soon as I discovered these things I woke my husband and son up and we got out of there). The front desk employee was not only indifferent but failed to offer any sort of compensation for the DISGUSTING room we were given. Then, this evening I discovered that we were over charged. I attempted AGAIN to get a resolution from staff and nothing at all was provided. We will never ever again stay here or any Quinault affiliated locations!

AT BEST TWO STARS
The hotel is not in good condition. Our room's bathroom had pealing wallpaper and the shower wasn't clean.the bedrooms walls were full of molly screw holes, we counted about at least 16. The carpet had stains in a few places. As for the staff they were okay but it wouldn't have killed them to maybe greet the guests once in a while.

There were perks attached to the casino for staying here and opting out of the cleaning service. Not sure if they offer the free breakfast everyday you stay, but they gave us a voucher at checkout. Since we went and ate the same breakfast the day before and paid that would have been nice to know. Property was a great location to everything and overall a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Super comfy bed and pillows! No view of the ocean, but the price was right. The free shuttle was a bonus, but unfortunately the buffet was closed. Super disappointed! We waited about 20 minutes for service in the cafe, but were never even acknowledged. Ended up having pizza at Dougan's, which was near the hotel and very good

The unique thing about this property is that they are associated with Quinalt Beach resort, so guests can get a voucher for free hot breakfast at Emiliys resturant at the casino. There is also free shuttle service to and from the casino 24/7. The not so good things about this location is that the shuttle service is limited to 2 shuttles for all of the Ocean Shores area and sometimes we had to wait more than 30 minutes to go 2.7 miles, but the drivers are friendly and provided a lot of area information. The two other things about the location is that there is no maid service during your stay. If we wanted anyting, fresh towels, for example, we had to get them ourselves and that the room would not be cleaned until we left. Yet they put an envelope requesting a tip for the maid in our room. The other issue, and this is not a very big one, is that the pool is incredibly smaill. During the summertime the pool area is very loud and crowded because of its size, so we didn't use it. It is an indoor pool, which is a step up from other motels in the area, and during the winter it is not crowded.

Poor check in process! No manager on duty at all, told to go casino if I want to talk to manager. Check in process is a joke, told when we got there at 4:30pm, come back at 6:00 we my have a room for you but not guaranteed. The Front desk girl was doing her job but when I asked for a manger she said there’s no one. Safety reasons that’s terrible management and lack of who can help on-site was poor. I was told go to casino and find a manager...okay yeah that a joke! Beds are hard as a rock Black mold in bathroom Lack of onsite staff and management is a sad state! Don’t I repeat stay here, unless you want this type of experience.

There wasn't beach access, the walls were very thin, we could hear every word from other rooms. property was old, rust in the bathroom, holes on the tables, the remote to the television didn't even work. The pool was a good feature and thats about it.

It a good visit.
Had booked for handicap. Called earlier in the day of check in to verify the room. Said they didn't have two queen beds with handicap. So I asked first floor, so I wouldn't have to walk so far, I walk with two canes. The toilet was not raised for older people, let alone handicap. Checking in the clerk multi tasked and didn't give me the attention or answer my questions. Had to complete check in upon check out the next day. Then check out, the clerk worked longerie. She needed help.

Unfortunately I did not get a full stay at Sweet Grass Hotel. Our room was supposed to be on the 2nd floor which looked out onto bushes, so no view. It was very basic, outdated and small. I was thinking because it was associated with the Quinault Resort and Casino that it would be similar to a certain degree, but it was not even close. We usually stay at the Resort and Casino, but this time decided to stay closer in town...bad idea. So after checking in and not impressed with the room I went back to the front desk and asked for a 3rd flr room which wouldn't be available until later. We said fine, we'll wait. If we're going to spend money here, I'd appreciate a better view, especially since the rooms were so lacking. So after going away to wait for a better room, we decided to cut our loses and find a better location with a guaranteed view. So we ended up not going back even though we already paid. The front desk was not very friendly I would say...customer service was lacking.

Checked in was fine. Went up to our room and put things on the bed and noticed the pillows looked funny. After a closer look, the cases were filthy with long black hair on all of them! Called the front desk and told them, figuring they would come up and change the cases for us. Some guy came up and and said, here’s the cases you requested and left. Room was noisy. Refrigerator, air conditioner made really loud noises. Then to top it off, someone’s child kept running up and down the halls screaming from 9:30 until almost 11:00. Overall the place was ok, but I probably won’t stay there again.

My wife dropped something on the floor it bounced under the bed. When she got down to get it she had a fingernail stick to her arm. We then looked under the beds and there were coffee lids bottle lids and caps hotel notices wadded paper and thick dust. Then we noticed that the whole room had not been vacuumed at all. I looked in the bathroom there were several hairs in the tub/shower. We had to have them have housekeeping come back and our room wasn't clean until 7:00 PM

I can only review my room and the pool as I was not to happy. My wife and 4 kids along with me had to wait a hour after their 4pm check in time to get our room. It seemed like a rushed cleaning because we had Carmel popcorn around our nightstands, dirty socks by the dresser, and rotten eggs in the fridge. The carpet was wet around the a/c unit and the carpet was massively discolored and looked really old. The ceiling had a lot of Sheetrock issues. And with 4 kids we kinda expected a DVD player and maybe a dvd selection to watch at the front counter as EVERY hotel I have ever stayed in has, and they do not. This is a hotel that you would want to show up, sleep, and leave. Don’t expect much

It was close to the convention center so that was good. However, it was at max capacity, and they were understaffed and undertrained. We had to wait an hour and a half to get checked in because the housekeeping staff was not done with our room. The front desk person was not getting the urgency we had to get into our room and really didn't seem to care. It made us late for our first meeting and there was no offer to make it up to us in any way. The room was muggy and the whole hotel had smells like perfumes trying to mask different odors. My husband has a sensitivity to smells so he had a headache the whole time. They also ask you to save the planet by hanging towels and reusing them, but both towel racks had been pulled off the wall and not replaced so how could we? . Never again.

I had requested a quiet room. Upon arriving as early as 2:30 pm before other travelers had checked in I reminded the hotel desk staff of my request, asking to be away from an elevator, etc. They obliged but at about 5:00 pm I had kids running, jumping, wrestling above my room. I called and asked if I could be moved to another room. Their reply was that noise is to be expected up until 10:00 pm and that nothing could be done about it. After calling twice I called Expedia. They were on the phone with the staff for about 20 minutes. Finally, at around 8:00 pm, things quieted down. To add to this, the towel rack was missing in the bathroom, one soap was provided and in order to eat the complimentary 2 egg breakfast I would need to drive several miles to the casino which owns the hotel. There was obviously a previous breakfast area with tables, chairs and counters for food but the staff said that it was no longer used. The floors are paper thin and so kids above will be an issue, especially if staff does nothing to accommodate. There is no view of the ocean, whatsoever and so even the location is not worth mentioning.I would never stay at this hotel again.

I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. We do always do our best to accommodate our guests requests, however we cannot guarantee that there will not be guests surrounding a room; especially on the occasions when our hotel is completely sold out. That is unavoidable. Our quiet hours go from 10pm-7am so unless noise complaints are during that time, we cannot ask a guest to quiet down unless they're being extremely disruptive. We do apologize that the location of the complimentary breakfast was inconvenient to you, but unfortunately, we do not have breakfast facilities at the Sweet Grass Hotel. The restaurant attached is no longer in service. Thank you for your feedback.
