Relaxing but not quite hassle-free
Relaxing and quiet. Cat urine smell in bedroom is not pleasant. There was no ocean view, unlike the advertisement and check-in sheet. There are additional unexplained charges on my account that were not confirmed nor agreed upon.

This property was extremely comfortable. We would suggest updating the wifi (it didn't connect) & a different TV/cable set up (no channels available). Everything was clean, except for the shower curtain (showed signs of mold). I would suggest others bring a hotspot if you plan staying in.

So bad we moved to a motel down the road
Long story short- we ended up renting another room for the duration of our vacation. NO INTERNET or cable. Advertised for cable and wifi, given a password for wifi yet no internet. Called, left messages, sent electronic messages- no response. Poor, poor customer service- wait, no customer service. Even now that we're back home.....nothing. Zip, zilch. I need internet for work but apparently nobody else cares about that. Except maybe my patients when they don't get a timely response. Not the cleanest place either but comfortable enough. A little smelly, dusty. Definitely needs some new kithen wares- melted rubber on the pans and tiny skillets which made cooking a longer process. Oh, did I mention no beach view? Nope, lied about this too. Had a nice view of a mud puddle which, after days of rain almost could have been a tiny pond but definitely not the beach. Good points- Check in was easy and self serve, although the 7 pages of rules emailed were excessive. Don't rent here. It's a mistake.

Very disappointed because we weren’t able to access the condo so can’t speak to other aspects of the property. We arrived at night & had been sent the wrong instructions for opening the real estate key box on the door. Office was closed & left messages at 2 different after-hours numbers, but no one called us back. Had to rent another room at a nearby property. No acknowledgment of their mistake & no refund either. Cannot recommend.

Not a great place. Take your business other places. Go here if everywhere else is booked. Don’t let the price or the photos fool you. TV doesn’t work. No WIFI anywhere on the property. They sent me a pdf with a passcode to use the WIFI. When I called, they said no. iPhone captures a very poor signal inside the building. Not enough to use the internet. Expect to live off the grid while you’re there. The furnishing is old, and the place has a strong stench to it. Do your research before coming here (reviews from different sources, not just Expedia). The managers have short fuses and if they feel like you should know better or if you have any sort of complaint, they’ll raise their voices at you and even scold you. Very toxic. They refuse to have someone speak to them on your behalf, which is sad because English is my second language and I have difficulty expressing my emotions when dealing with frustration. There is NO ocean view or beach front view. Just a bunch of tall weeds near the road. The walkway is poorly kept and maintained. If it is raining, and you live on the ground floor, water from the top floor while be dripping hard over you if you are not careful walking out. The place itself is dark and gloomy, and can be intimidating if you’re there by yourself, without any company. You've been warned.

No one is physically on the property to help. My bedroom window was nailed shut, so no air ventilation. The main slider had no screen and the lock was broken. It was a very quiet unit. The brush is overgrown, so no ocean view.

The cost was awesome. Better than any hotel room, full kitchen, nice deck, washer and dryer in our condo, and every thing not only worked, but worked well. Probably the best of the whole Ocean Shores area. Plus the staff of Laurie and Penny were awesome. Hated to leave. Sincerely, Duane W. Dahlke

In general we were very pleased. But the tv didn't work, the dishwasher leaked, the bathroom fan has a short in the fan switch, and the refrigerator took for ever to make ice cubes. We called the first day about problems and never received one phone call back from the property managers. Thanks and make it a great day.

I have back problems. There are not handcaped parking spots. There is a dead stump by the stairs that is a big hazard for trips and falls. The bottom of shower looks dirty and the shower curtain has crud on the bottom seam.

Such a great place for small families of 3-4. It was very cozy and clean. It had everything we needed for a nice get away. Definitely would be staying at it again.

This place is disappointing from the moment you get there. Everything is completely shabby and/or broken - from the lock on the door, to cabinets, to the bedside table. However, it was very clean - so hats off to the housekeeper. The furniture (specifically the couch and bed) were so rock hard that my back needed some TLC after the weekend. I opted to sit on the floor rather than that couch. Don't stay here.

Quite spot not to far from everything. Made a huge deal about smoking in the room and picking up after yourself wife found a water bottle full of cigarette butts hiding behind the sliding door curtains. Don't think we will be back.

Very uncomfortable. Decided to rent a different room at another hotel because of the uncomfortable feel of unit. Did not get my money back. Room was not as advertised. I was supposed to have a top floor with ocean view. It was bottom floor with no view. We stay at ocean shores at least 4 times a year and this was our worst experience yet. Sure would like to be reimbursed and get my money back.

DON'T waste your money
The bed was like sleeping on plywood. There was a tv however, the picture was not clear. No oceanview and furniture was all very uncomfortable. Rented it for two nights ended up going to the best western for secind night. Also beware of additional fees not disclosed properly!!

The room was stuffy, and only the way to let air in was to leave patio door open, but had no screen and the window in dining area was a single piece and not able to open. The living area was not laid out very well with the TV on back side of dining area, with anyone sitting at table it block the screen

The condo was clean but the screen door was torn the dishwasher did not work The countertop didn’t feel sanitary. The be was comfortable. The closet doors wouldn’t slide and we had to keep putting the Mack on the rails.

Very nice place... maybe not a good place for children with the super quiet area and walls are thin. If it was me without children I would stay there again. The washer and dryer was very handy.

Not what I was expecting
Went with my best friend for a getaway weekend and booked this place last minute. The pictures that were posted made the place look bigger than it actually was and more modern than it actually was. There were a few things that troubled us...the smell as soon as we walked in was not very pleasant and the sliding glass door to the balcony was very very hard to open everytime we wanted to step outside. The couch was not the most comfortable or in the best of shape. Also we could hear everything that was happening next door to us and below us. Everything else was fine, the bedroom was comfortable and the washer and dryer were nice. The location of the property was nice, close to everything but yet the feeling of being far away enough to have piece and quiet. Overall, the price I ended up paying for this place I would have rather stayed somewhere else.

We arrived and our self check-in was simple and exactly as described. We found the condo in beautiful condition and nice chosen decor for the beach. It was warm, as the unit doesn’t have a/c, but a quick opening of the sliding doors on the ocean side quickly remedied that.

We read a couple reviews about this place that made us think twice. I am here to give it a real review. We had no problems checking in other than the fact that the lock that holds the key was a little sticky/tricky. The place was very clean. The cable was just fine. The information they send you says it has a Keurig, our unit did not. It had a coffee maker but no filters. We did not get the unit in the pictures. A little disappointing but it was still comfortable. We called the customer service twice and the ladies were always nice and helpful. We are thinking it would be noisy due to staying on the holiday weekend but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. The bed was fairly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Please be advised, unit 206 does not have wifi! We found out the hard way.

This facility needs some help. The cable television is terrible, the floors were dirty and the hide-a-bed had springs sticking up out of it. I called for service on the television and it took a very long time to get the problem resolved. I will not return to this facility.

Booking was a nightmare. We were contacted and given inconsistent information, our location was moved without our knowing to a place 12 minutes away from where we had booked, and the reservation staff member I dealt with (through the hotel) was a moron. Hotels.com could not or did not do anything to fix the situation. I will not patronize this company again.

Attention to detail
When we first booked there was paperwork that was lost and said that we didn't book when in fact we did. We had to make phone calls to two different sources to confirm. There was way too much time to go through the booking process. Once we arrived the the place looked OK. There was no T.V. programming only old VHS tapes. The TV in the bedroom didn't work at all yet there was a cable attached leading outside not to mention the Value Village sticker with price attached still stuck to the side. The place was dirty and the updates if any were terrible. There was a throw rug where the ends ended up being tacked along the wall. The blinds along the window and slider were falling apart. When we arrived back home we had a message on our answering machine that we did not check out by 11 am and the cleaning lady could not enter when in fact we left 1.5 hours before checkout. We had to call the next morning to clarify any confusion and they said they did not call when in fact it showed the business name on caller ID!!
