Ocean Drive Trip

We had a very pleasant stay. When we first arrived up the our room, we found the balcony door wide open, which seemed odd as it was late in the evening we arrived and the temperature outside was only around 45 degrees, leaving the bedroom very chilly. There had also been some lights on when we arrived. And we did find a used wadded up washcloth in the top of one of the showers at arrival. There were two showers which was great but only one had a shower curtain. After multiple individuals had showered in the master bathroom, it was realized the water did not work correctly. (It did not fully shut off and it was nearly impossible to adjust the temp of the water at all) We then took that shower curtain and moved it to the other bathroom while letting the desk know there was a water issue. To our knowledge the water issue was not fixed at all prior to us leaving. Overall though, it was a nice place. The majority of the employers were kind. The lighting in the pool area was super relaxing, and hot tubs were at the perfect temperature. Being right at the beach is always amazing.

The staff was amazing and very thoughtful. Room was clean and amenities were nice.

Overall, a good 2 night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The shower felt amazing. The smart TV was very much appreciated. I must note my suggestions, though. The area rug in the middle of the room needs to be trashed. Tripping hazard & dirty. We tripped over it so many times & had to place something on top of the corners just not to keep tripping. The room doesn't even need the rug. Would look so much cleaner without it. No rug needed. The refrigerator & microwave needs to be upgraded to stain steel. Those 2 changes would make this room appear much more cleaner & updated. Also, the towels should be WHITE. The wall colors / trim should all match. Those changes would do WONDERS & they're fairly inexpensive to do. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the rug was a negative. I wanted to move it completely myself.

As always the rooms was spotless, staff worked with me to accommodate my request to move to the new room the day before my reservation since I was already there and decided to stay another day. This is one of my favorite resorts in the area, and had recommended to family and friends when they want it to visit North Myrtle Beach.
