Great overnight stay here and we enjoyed a delicious dinner too!
We knew it wasn’t in the town, but we had a car so we’re able to visit nearby Schwäbisch Hall. I also parked below the Kloster and walked up and around the beautiful buildings- the inside is not open to visitors.
We had booked a room with a sauna- goodness knows why as it was 30’ in August!! But it meant we had a large bathroom with excellent shower and spacious bedroom. All was very clean and comfortable.
Hotels.com had said there...

Immaculate conditions, the hotel and room was exceptionally clean. The facilities were incredible, very advanced technology I was able to operate the doors through my phone. The check in and check out was also done by phone. Lots of amenities for food and drinks in the lobby even when we checked in late. Would happily stay there again.

They let us stay in the room where Dalia Lama once stayed and we felt honoured and privileged. We left Munich to drive towards Rotherburg and then on to the hotel. It was such a memorable journey in that the country side scenic was overwhelmingly beautiful..... We want to come back to this part of Germany next year and stay at this wonderful hotel.

Very good hotel, great base to use in the area. I was lucky and got a parking space on site but be aware if you need to park that there is paid parking nearby.
