"Unique property with fascinating history - it’s most suited for conference and business use. Beautiful grounds, our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was efficient and friendly. Be aware that access to rooms in the “Kavilier Haus” above the restaurant requires making a long walk on gravel surface and then steep climb up a curved stairway to reach the first floor. Restaurant was quite good - staff very friendly. "

"Beautiful natural rural setting off the beaten path which is just what we were looking for. Nature paths with farm animals within view, berries, apple orchards, and German handcrafts on display. Breakfast was wonderful and the woman who served breakfast was kind and polite. "
