The hotel is beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff is awesome! Fernando at the front desk was very helpful. He recommended restaurants and helped us reserve our taxis. Yvonne at the restaurant was very nice and pleasant to talk to in the mornings. We will definitely come back!
I stayed 2 nights in two different rooms. Both were good experiences but I really recommend the Design Studio Suite. It had a plunger tub on the patio with an INCREDIBLE view of the city and the Santo Domingo Guzman. It is also located right beside the jacuzzi so I ran a cold bath on my patio and then would go back and forth between hot and cold. Very peaceful and quiet hotel, located near great dining options including some Michelin restaurants. The staff were very nice and helpful. You can WhatsApp them questions. Good wifi. Really recommend this place!

Room choice makes all the difference
We stayed in one of the property's premium suites, and it was by far the highlight of our visit. The room was spacious—larger than it appears in photos—with stunning wraparound views and a firm, comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the private outdoor bathtub was not well-maintained and felt too unclean to use.
A few important notes: the suite opens directly onto a terrace, which requires guests to secure themselves inside with a padlock at night—a potential concern for those prioritizing safety. The room’s proximity to the hot tub is convenient and offers privacy at night, but like much of the property, it lacked cleanliness. We encountered bugs in the tub daily, and it didn’t appear to be regularly cleaned or maintained.
The rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Restaurant and bar hours were extremely limited, spa services were hard to arrange (we couldn’t find anyone to assist), and staff presence was minimal. Beyond the front desk, hospitality was noticeably lacking.
While our suite was a standout, it’s worth noting that another guest in our party stayed in a smaller room located in the basement—it was dark and far less appealing. Room choice here seems to make all the difference.
Our stay was amazing!! The people there were so friendly and helpful. The facility was super clean and most importantly, we felt safe. Ivonne was our personal favorite there. We are already planning to return next summer. We loved Oaxaca!
The room was lovely and very clean when we got there but housekeeping never came so we had to go to front desk to grab new towels etc
Also, we stayed in the panoramic suite with the little pool. It would have been nice if they left any kind of information on how the jets worked and maybe a little net to clean the debris out. Mostly just leaves and what not from the surrounding trees.
