"Really nice and quirky hotel. It was a very nice touch the little presents they gave us, and the free tapas in the afternoons. The rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit too dark. Note there is no AC in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. When we visited Oaxaca it was very hot (34C), and had we had AC, we would've slept better. The rooftop was beautifully decorated and provided wonderful views. It is close to everything: great restaurants around and near bars to go...

"Comala B&B is conveniently located within walking distance of the Santo Domingo Temple, museums, and the mercado. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed Carlos, the owner. He is a wealth of information about the area and never failed to greet us when we returned from our explorations. They give you several choices for breakfast options and each was delicious. "La habitación, la ropa de cama, el baño, el servicio todo en general merece las 5 estrellas. Quiero destacar la ubicación a 2 cuadras del centro cultural Santo Domingo y de todos los restaurantes y galerías a su alrededor. Como nota al margen, la habitación elite es la única que no tiene cocineta, las descripción es correcta pero las fotografías no (de cualquier manera la habitaciónes muy linda). Tomar en cuenta si la cocineta es esencial para su estancia, en ese caso elijan cualquier otra."

"A bit outside the main downtown area it was still close enough to get there and back. Taxis were 70 to 80 pesos and I enjoyed the 2km walks. There's a wonderful cafe just across the street as well."
