"We enjoyed staying in the tent for a couple of nights for a peaceful Marrakech stay. It is a lovely place if you have a car. The animals were friendly - lots of dogs, cats, horses, birds, nature. There is a shop and restaurant on site which is very convenient. Pool and hot tub aren't open this time of year. Towels would have been nicer If they were bigger and staff didn’t clean or change towels while we stayed. "
"The spa was excellent enjoyed several treatments and a swim in the indoor pool.
The staff a super friendly and encourage participation in activities or leave you alone which ever is your thing.
Access to Marrakech is easy with the shuttle bus.
The pool looked amazing sadly we did not have the weather for going in a little cold and wet. "
"I stayed at the hotel in winter season. Only one restaurant open. Can’t rate anything else as it was closed. Looked like a great place to be in the summer. "

"A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations)
Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf
Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall.
Here is the breakdown of my experience:
The Property & Rooms
• Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable.
• Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night.
• No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay.
Food & Drinks
• Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options.
• Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). Strangely, this alternative dining option only served water and s"
"Very mixed review, since some aspects were great and some not so much! the check-in was arduous, instead of just being told the truth that our room was not ready, and given a realistic time to come back, we were strung along and moved from place to place, it was very hard with kids after a long journey. The check-out was also lengthy and frustrating for no reason.
The pool towel policy is pathetic, childish and frankly embarrassing. We couldn't work out where to get them from, where to change them, it was one of the annoying things about the holiday.
Overall its a nice hotel, but being on the second floor with no lifts and young baby was very hard, terrible view of wasteland. But we made the most of the pools, waterpark etc. so we had a nice time overall. "
