The lake is beautiful and it was lovely to see a bald eagle family nesting on the lake. The main road that runs through Nyanza is very busy and noisy.

We had a nice stay while we explored Cape Breton over 4 days. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but you weren’t allowed to take a plate to your room, not sure why. We were here toward the end of the season, so many amenities were not available. However, our room looking out to the lake was good with fluffy towels and a comfortable bed.
