This is a well-maintained hotel with a friendly, attentive staff. The tv in the room has many channels, some of which had the option to view the programming in with either Spanish or English audio. The breakfast buffet was good, offering limited but tasty options. I have one complaint, though. For both the sink and the shower, there appeared to be no mechanism to control the temperature of the water.

Nice area, extremely clean and beautiful room! Staff was friendly only issue was the exchange rate was different at the front desk than what the booking was locked into. But it wasn’t an issue for us.

THE GOOD: 1. Hands down, the hotel staff were the best part of our stay. Friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. I can't say enough good things about them. 2. Overall, the hotel was in good condition. The common areas, in particular, were clean and inviting. 3. The AC works! The last hotel we stayed at in Chimbote didn't have AC, so we were VERY grateful to have it on this visit. THE BAD/UGLY: 1. The toilet was on a small platform, so using it was very awkward. 2. The tiles in the shower were very slippery, and there wasn't a rubber mat on the floor to prevent slipping. That's a major hazard and one I hope they address.

It is the best hotel you can find in this area. It is a basic hotel, but a very good place to stay overnight. Located in a safe area with some nice restaurants nearby, the hotel is quite new and well-maintained

I have visited this hotel last year in 2024 and again this most recent visit. I speak Spanish but it is not perfect and the receptionist was speaking very fast to us. Last year I was not required to pay taxes nor a security deposit because I am a tourist. This year the front desk receptionist told me to change the reservation to my husband’s name because of his status to avoid paying taxes. I told her okay but then she required us to pay a security deposit. I did ask her to repeat herself a few times because I could not understand her Spanish being so fast. We paid the deposit and continued about our day. The next day my mom also made a reservation at the same hotel. Here’s the crazy part they did not require her to pay taxes NOR a security deposit. When my mom asked them why did the previous receptionist require me to pay but not her. They said it was just preference. Which to me and my husband is us being profiled and discriminated against. When we checked out there were two receptionist there. One of them asked me if we took anything from the fridge I said no. Then the other receptionist who was the one that profiled us asked me again I said no and she insisted that we took two sodas. I told her we had ordered room service and yes two sodas which we paid for in that moment. She then gave me my deposit back and said nothing else. Very disappointed.

El servicio y la habitacion estuvieron bien, pero en la noche senti que algo me picaba en los brazos y esta mañana amaneci con varias picadas y yo soy alergica, por los que se me hinchan un poco. Asumo que eran bichos de cama. Lo extraño es que have 3 dias, nos quedamos en el mismo hotel, incluso misma habitación 201 y no me pasó esto, no entiendo porque ahora.

La habitacion era amplia y limpia, y el personal muy amable, el unico detalle en contra era que la bañera era muy resbalosa y casi se cae mi esposo, tuvimos que usar una toalla.
