"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."

"The château is beautiful. The room was well appointed and the dinner and the chef are amazing. There are really beautiful scenes of the river and the surrounding area is so gorgeous."

"Very nice overall stay service and food very good "

"The friendliest welcome ever! Teddy (the spaniel) and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful house. We were looked after extremely well and look forward to returning."

"Amazing 2 night stay with very charming hosts. We were looked after very well. "

"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "Studio has everything you need for a self-sufficient stay. Loved eating outside on our private terrace. Is mostly renovated with a few dated fixtures. Good but firm bed."

"Nice Hotel, comfortable beds and good breakfast"

"I have stayed in a lot of Chateaus- turned-hotels over my years of travel, so I think I can rave about this stay with credibility. It was a 10 out of 10. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet."

"A lovely overnight stop would go there again"
