Top Norwalk Reservoirs Hotel Reviews

Cedar Point's Castaway Bay

8/10 Good

"Love the vibe of this hotel. Very tropical, steel drum music playing, decorated beautifully. Was very disappointed that on a Saturday most of the waterpark was closed down. We could only access the log ride which my daughter couldn’t do because she was too small, the hot tub which my daughter couldn’t do because she was too small, the toddler water play area, and the big water playground area. The wave pool was closed, all the slides but one on the playground and the log ride were closed, the two little side pools on the right with the floaties and obstacle course were closed. That was our primary reason for staying there so very disappointed. But the breakfast buffet was great, the character meet and greets were very cute, and the staff was very friendly!"

Days Inn by Wyndham Milan Sandusky South

8/10 Good

"The breakfast was okay, but there were not a lot of options with protein other than the milk and yogurt. The hot tub was not working during our stay."

Quality Inn Milan - Sandusky

8/10 Good

"U-Haul being in the hotel was kinda weird never seen that before. Breakfast could have a little more variety. But for the price can not really beat it if you need a place to stay after being at Cedar Point for Haloweekends."

Motel 6 Huron, OH - Sandusky

8/10 Good

"Free parking. Staff were friendly. Room was decent. They have a hot tub and pool but didn’t get to use. Close to Cedar Point and amenities. Did its job!"

Comfort Inn River's Edge

8/10 Good

"Great location. Most of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. Beds and room were comfortable. Breakfast was decent - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle machine, yogurt, fruit cereal, etc. The hotel was not filthy but it wasn't super clean either."

Best Western Plus Sandusky Hotel & Suites

8/10 Good

"Clean room."

Cedar Point's Express Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great location to the park and the area."

Tru by Hilton Sandusky, OH

8/10 Good

"Hotel was very nice. We were able to check in early. Upon check in the floor by the ac unit was wet in our room. When we walked in the floor water came up through the floor boards. When I went down to the front desk they were able to change us to another room right away. Hopefully it gets fixed asap so no one has wet feet!!! It’s a busy location yet it was super quiet in our room which was awesome. We’d stay here again for sure!"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milan – Sandusky Area by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"We had a clean room and great customer service at front desk, always helpful. Hotel was located within 20min of Cesar point and about 30 for the ferries to the islands, definitely a good location with plenty of food options close by."
