"In general, the Elian experience was fantastic. And the room itself was clean, organized, and great BUT... Our room was placed right next to the icemaker directly outside. So we heard ice being taken out every time through out the nights. Then the people above us on the sixth floor must've been having a wrestling match. Unless it was cleaning staff, then we would understand. But we heard every pound and step. Other than that, the stay was just as good as we expected. The valet was good. The front desk was very helpful. The amenities were fantastic. We see a lot of potential in the resort becoming something truly special when all the area construction is completed. Notes: I did find it odd that "The Social" restaurant/bar, at the resort, closed at 10 pm on weekends. Or the outside pool closing pretty early as well. The mandatory valet was strange to see as well. We understand it's because of all the construction but they really should have a parking lot for people to drive their own vehicles. Overall: I highly recommend it! It was great. Just don't go to "George's Keep" right outside. The bar tenders there are unprofessional and it makes your experience of the stay at the resort a bit annoying."

"The Hotel was older but ok on cleanliness. The issue is the safety. Cars were all broken into over night. When police came they said it happens all the time there. I would not stay here again due to this."

"We stayed at the Drury Plaza and were extremely happy with our stay. From being greeted at the front desk and very informed of the amenities that was included to the free parking garage that was safe and nice to have during bad weather. The rooms were clean and the bed slept great. The morning breakfast buffet was not your typical free breakfast. Pancakes were being made fresh on the spot. Nice variety of choices and fresh cut up fruit. The evening snack they offer with drinks were a great surprise. One night was a pasta bar with several choices. Tomatoes basil soup. Spinach salad with sun dried tomatoes and a nacho bar. Something for everyone. Every night was a different menu. They have several Drury Plazas in San Antonio we stayed at the one off loop 1604. We were there 3 nights so enough to have a great experience especially being there for a funeral. "

"We checked out a day early and found somewhere else to stay. Sink would not drain, toilet wouldn’t flush and we had no hot water. Worse experience I have ever had at any Hotel."

"This property is in serious need of renovation and does not match the condition shown in its online photos. It feels outdated and dingy throughout. During our stay, there was a flooding issue in the main lobby, which only added to the overall poor impression. The restroom artwork had broken frames and visible water damage, and the faucets were worn and faded. The bedding was heavily used, and the overlay blankets were covered in pilling and looked old and unclean. The décor and flooring throughout the property appear neglected and overdue for replacement. The only positives were the friendly staff and the indoor pool, which the kids enjoyed—but overall, the condition of the hotel falls well below expectations."
