Amazing resort. Cozy little rooms but perfect for watching the northern lights. Room has a glass ceiling so you can look out for the lights from your own bed! The private hot tub was also epic. Recommend it hands down. Also recommend the horse drawn sleigh ride

This is a lovely new hotel on a convenient location for the Tromso to Lofoten drive or vice versa. It is also close to the Hurtigruten museum which is so interesting to visit on a wet day. The hotel is modern and spacious with an aesthetic bar area design. Cocktails were professionally made. Dinner was also good, if limited in choice. Superb breakfast selection. Our room had a high quality bed, tv and effective blackout curtains, a Norwegian summer necessity. We thought this hotel was excellent...

Location and uniqueness

Quite remote and very calm and serene. Excellent place to see the Northern Lights if the weather is clear. If Northern Lights is your goal then you probably should stay in Tromso City and book a van tour that drives you around to the best location for viewing depending on the conditions.

We stayed at Nyvagar for four nights and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is nicely located next to the sea, but only 10 minutes drive to Svolvaer. The roburs are comfortable with equipped kitchens and lots of space. Breakfast is OK and has everything you would expect. The staff is very friendly.

An amazing hotel for a one horse town at the end of the world. The quality of the suite was beyond our expectations for the town it is in.

Clean room, great view. Located close to port and very easy to get to airport. The gym was very good and there was a fabulous lobby. The breakfast was excellent. Overall great quality and good value.

This was an exceptional place The cottage was large, well equipped and had a fantastic view of the fjord. Nusfjord is very picturesque and there are a number of activities offered to visitors. A truly memorable experience.
