"The room was clean, the bed super comfy! Staff was great …if I’m back this way I would love to spend more time enjoying the amenities..we did not have the opportunity to visit the outdoor patio-which looks fun! FYI-if you are older it would be best to get an accessible room…it was difficult getting suitcases up the steps and there did not appear to be an elevator. Also-finding the building numbers in the parking lot was difficult…one of us had to get out and walk to the sign as it was very dark. Otherwise-great stay"

"The property is not well maintained. The elevator was not functioning in the spa building, there were dead insects floating in the hot tub, the jets in the tub weren’t working, the advertised rooftop bar was closed, there was no bell staff to assist, housekeeping was spotty, the couch cushions by the fireplace were filthy, carpet leading up to our room was very dirty. The room needed updating, poor lighting in bathroom, chipped paint on doors and counter, ancient air unit that had a moldy drip, rug under bed kept sliding and flipping up, very annoying. Upon questioning I was told that the property sold about year and a half ago. The new owners intend on doing a total overhaul. The price for this resort is way out of line with the quality. On a positive note, my travel companion said his spa treatments were both excellent and the on-site restaurant, Rascal, is very good. It is outsourced and operated by an independent restaurant group with James Beard nominations."

"Though it isn’t by the rim, the location inside the park is very convenient. At the same time, it is quiet, with less visitors walking around the rooms. To have a car is convenient for this hotel"

"They over booked and when I showed up they told me they had a room at a different property for me. They never called to inform me and I still was charged. Partially Expedias fault but very disappointed with the communication."

"Hot tub was gross and had large crack in in and the mirror around it had damaged frame. Bathroom was put together very poor. Cabinet had raw wood edges. Tile had paint and grout spatters everywhere plus cracked tiles. We had the family room suite with 3 beds and one bed had red stains on sheet. Blood or make up dont know. Also only had 3 towels and 2 wash cloths and 1 roll of toilet paper. "

"We had a 2 queen room and it was very spacious and clean. The breakfast is very basic but serves its purpose. Staff was very expedient in clearing tables and making room for more guests. Great location outside of Grand Canyon park. Nice to have a jacuzzi to soak in after the long walks and mule ride but strong smell of chlorine since it was indoors. Great places to eat nearby. We enjoyed getting takeout at Foodie Club and taking it with us to watch the sunset at Lipan Point."
