"I stayed here with a friend for Le Grand du Nord. The location is awesome, just outside Grand Marais, and our room opened up onto a patio with views of the lake. We were up early one morning, so took one of the canoes for a spin - gorgeous views! Was also great to relax by the fireplace in a cozy chair on the lounge, reading with a view of the lake. The management was friendly and check-in/check-out was informal, but efficient (there's not really a front desk or office). WiFi was reasonably fast...
