sitting outside with a cold beer and a nice plate of food was the perfect end to my holiday. The staff could not do enough for me.

Breakfast was fresh every morning with fresh bread sausage bacon eggs. Continental breakfast a great variety of meats cheeses fruit. Staff excellent excellent everything meals. The rooms were spotlessly clean ample parking. It’s just a great hotel well recommended.

Welcome by the owners, friendliness, amazing approach. As a gay couple, I have to say we've been treated really excellent and judge respect. Thank you August Großmann :)

Nic quiet clean place. The staff were helpful and the breakfast/restaurant was excellent

Dicht am Wald, gutes Restaurant.

Very clean and comfy and nice spa, just a night stop over on the way from Poland to the UK, we pick this place as it has a nice spa so we can relax and have nice swim one evening and morning. Restaurant is a bit pricy for dinner and breakfast but the town just a few miles down the round has some nice little restaurants which are very nice and value for money.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in for value for money. Everything was excellent including the location which is 5mins walk from town and 5mins walk to station. The hotel restaurant is good for lunch or dinner and very reasonable and if the weather is fine outdoor dining is particularly nice in the beautiful surroundings. All the staff where very helpful and friendly. This was our second visit as our son works in Gutersloh and is definitely the best hotel in the area.

The staff were excellent. I don’t speak German and their English was very good. It’s a lovely hotel in a lovely town. However, next time I would book a double room because the single was very small (like Japanese small). And only had one plug socket which was nowhere near the desk.

We were in the new annex of the hotel, very modern, very spacious, clean and very quiet, will recommend a stay here.

This stay was a dream! Very lovely property, and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The wellness area with sauna and pool were very nice. Staff were excellent! If I have to say something negative, it would be the dining at the restaurant. Prices were on the high side, relative to the quality. I was not satisfied with the quality of the food, but the ambiance, staff, and cleanliness of the restaurant were all great

A traditional German hotel in a rural setting. The room was clean and spacious with the bounse of a balcony. The restaurant was not open on our first night (Thursday). We did have a good meal the following evening. Continental breakfast was good. There is also ample free parking. This hotel is one we would return too.
