"Awesome stay and the pool and splash pad was sweet"

"I’m sure this was a beautiful hotel back in the day. Sadly it is run down with very few updates. The carpets haven’t been cleaned in a while. The furniture is very worn. The elevators were pretty shabby. The AC wasn’t working in the hallways or in the lobby, so relaxing in the lounge area was not pleasant. The restaurant breakfast was average. Cocktails at the bar seemed watered down. But the staff was very pleasant and professional. It’s not their fault that the hotel is just dilapidated....

"They didn’t have any clean towels. They didn’t have any clean bath towels, body towels. They didn’t have no clean sheets or blankets. Also, the balcony was dirty. The pullout couch had old crumbs in there. I even seen bedbugs. I will never say that again I am hurt at traumatize the staff is all rude and horrible and lazy. Also by the way the GM stays downstairs in the hotel room. I also waited an hour and 45 minutes before check-in front desk lady is very rude."

"While there are many choices to stay in East Peoria, this is a top choice. Off the beaten path, tons of options for food, fun & shopping. Very scenic, clean & quiet part of town. Pay attention to the last part. Kudos to the staff, very friendly, clean & great amenities. We will be back as we find ourselves around these parts frequently."
