I am hiking a section of the Te Araroa trail from Auckland to Hamilton and came across Heavens Rest as a logistical stop. I stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage and couldn’t have been more impressed with the tranquility after a long hike, comfy bed and fridge filled with juice, fresh milk, eggs, bread and yogurt. Robert even drove me back to the trail in the morning - highly recommend

The accommodation was lovely, well equipped and with spectacular views of the sea and beach. The lack of air conditioning was however a bit of a drawback since this meant it was necessary to have windows open and then there were a lot of flies which came into the room. This seemed to be more of a problem on the day that the grass had been cut. Not sure if that's just coincidental or not. The communal fire-pit was a real bonus. The check in and check out process is a bit weird if you are not used to it but once you learn that after and before a certain time the front desk is not staffed and the keys are in a key box, it’s totally fine. The hotel itself is lovely and super central. Totally recommend

Very accommodating staff, I had a lovely room, Would 100% stay here again.

This has been one of our best stays in new zealand so far . The owner was very friendly, took us to our room and explained everything to us , unlike some places give you a key and you find your way . The views were beautiful. Would stay again and definitely recommend 😀

Super friendly host, nice accommodation

Very comfortable stay at Podium. Room was spotless and had everything we required .

Helpful staff excellent facilities and very clean

I had an excellent stay at Radisson RED Auckland. The hotel was modern, clean, and in a great location. What made the experience outstanding was the staff—every single team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Thank you to the entire team for providing such exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Auckland. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One night stopover. Clean, comfortable & easy access to shops for food. Can't fault it.

Beautifully clean and well equipped, big space perfect for a family. The staff were very helpful and gave us a late checkout. We only stayed one night but the facilities would have made it good for multiple days. great location for getting around Wellington.

What a great place!! Beautiful building, great location, informed and informative host (John) and a good breakfast that will set you up for the day. Recommend it to anyone.

Great location and facility
