"The staff was extremely helpful. The pool was not open for the entire stay; other people continued to use it despite that. We did not. The staff seems to be making great efforts to improve the property. They even left to buy items we needed during our stay. The entire property smells like smoke. I am unsure if there is a smoking permitted room: but people smoke in the rooms or on the balconies. It was annoying at best and definitely a concern for anyone with asthma or anyone who just hates that smell. The room itself was clean as was the bathroom. The heat and AC worked well. TV provided night time entertainment and the small fridge was nice to have. The pet friendly option is a huge perk when traveling and the property was very well maintained for pets: grass cut: didn’t smell like pets at all. No elevator: so it was a bit of exercise going up to the second floor but I didn’t feel this took away from the trip. Views of the lake are incredible and the putt putt is always really nice course. We did not use the gym. Continental breakfast was provided each morning. Overall I would want to visit the property before returning. It was effective and I expect it to be improved over time given the dedication of the staff."

"The econo Lodge should not be accredited to be on the Expedia website. This hotel is not up to standard or code for stays to be charged a fee for lodging. None of the pictures listed or shown on the Expedia website are the pictures of the hotel conditions and or room conditions. I made a verbal complaint with the front desk staff and asked for a refund and I was told no and I was also told that I should be charged a deposit fee for a rundown hotel which should be a motel. Not to be judgmental but there were all walks of life mostly addicts in and out of the hotel/motel. I am extremely extremely disappointed with the service the facility and the conditions of this hotel/motel which I do have photographs which are not the photograph from the Expedia website these are old pictures and the pictures that I took are recent from the day that I stayed which was Saturday May 30th 2026."

"The rooms are absolutely filthy. The room number was written on the wall outside the room with a sharpie. The door lock plate was falling off the door. There was what appeared to be a dried boogie on one of the “clean” washcloths in the bathroom. The bathtub faucet was falling off the shower wall. We couldn’t use the shower because water wasn’t draining in the bathtub and it was backing up while running water. The exhaust vent in the bathroom didn’t work and had what looked like a dead animal hanging out of it. The blow dryer plug was cracked exposing the inside wires to dust and water. Dried feces from previous guests dried on the toilet seat. The floors, windows, and window sills were filthy. Dust and dirt on the floors and window sills. The headboard on the bed had hand prints and questionable dried liquids all over it. The hallway outside our room smelled like marijuana. The outside doors, with card readers for access were not locked and anyone could enter the facility without a key/card. The pool listed in the Expedia add is now drained and caked with dried brown algae. I don’t know how the health department hasn’t shut this place down. I had to spend $80 at Walmart for cleaners, bath towels, paper towels, pillow cases, a sheet to cover the bed and blankets because we had to disinfect enough to sleep there for one night. I have pictures and video of everything. I should be given a full refund! I’m thinking about notifying the department of health, it was THAT BAD!"
