One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Very cool place, a hotel in the old building of the sailors' school. The building breathes nautical history, yet it has all the modern elements you'd expect from a hotel. We loved this place !

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom. Brilliant Christmas stay, great staff

Location was excellent right in the heart of Bruges. Room was first class, clean spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic view over the square. Staff encountered were all helpful and polite. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Great job.

Excellent hotel in a great location, only 10 min walk from the train station and close to many great places to eat, drink and explore. Our room was very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous place to stay. We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception! Everything else was amazing. The hotel is based in a beautiful villa on the moat just outside the city centre of Middelburg, a lovely location to spend a few days in. There is ample private parking, and our room, in the new extension, was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spacious bathroom had a bath and shower. The continental breakfast buffet was excellent. We would have liked an outside light to enjoy the patio in the evening and the switch for the central light was in the corridor. Location very central and convenient

Beautiful hotel, great location and the staff were very helpful. The lift is quite small and the stairs very steep therefore maybe tricky for those with mobility issues. We loved it and will definitely return
