Cottonwood Inn
2/10 Terrible
"There was hair in the shower, that was not ours!!. An electrical outlet that did not have a cover and did not work. Multiple outlets with power cords and too many things plugged into it that the microwave kept blinking on and off. You could feel the springs in the mattress. The pillows were lumpy and smelled terrible. The bathroom sink looked like it was about to fall off the wall any second. Everything was filthy. The noise from the ethanol plant across the street was so incredibly loud. Had to walk outside by the pool to eat breakfast and the pool was gross. There were also many construction parts and old AC units lying around. Carpet that had been ripped up tossed in corners around the property. Absolutely worst place I've ever stayed. We had booked for 2 nights, but did not stay the second night. "
"Significant visible damage to walls and floors in main area of first floor. Elevator is missing buttons, covered with clear tape. Some rooms appear to have plumbing/drainage issues. Walls between rooms do not dampen sound and TV, conversation, and dogs barking can be heard easily next door, disrupting sleep. Staff can be helpful, but facility is in need of significant renovation."
