The staff were all lovely and looked after us very well.Everything was exceptionally clean and the garden was extremely pleasant. We found it conveniently placed for exploring Matagalpa and its surroundings. Undoubtedly the best place to stay in the Matagalpa area. The only thing which marred our stay was the night time barking of local dogs. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Carlitos. The rooms are simple and clean and right on a quiet beach. So fantastic. Carlito and his wife went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us get medical help when one of our kids got sick. While it’s a bit of a walk from the village, you can easily get a wheelbarrow to get your bags to and from the panga, and there are several great restaurants within 5 minutes."

"Casa de los Berrios is in the center of Leon, the owner is a very nice lady that helped me with everything, even let me stay a few hours after check out. The room was clean, the place has a lot of greenery and birds. Feels like a nature in town :)"

"My experience with this hotel was awful from the beginning. I had booked three rooms for the night. Upon arrival they informed me that I had booked my rooms through Expedia and Expedia never sent them the reservation so they didn’t have our rooms. They wanted to offer me two rooms to accommodate all 5 adults. "We arrived in Managua late evening and Casa Lucia had a driver waiting for us.Claudio greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel at home. Claudio and his mother were very accommodating. The breakfast menu had a nice variety and the coffee was excellent. Location was great, bars & restaurants in walking distance. We would definitely recommend and stay there again."
