"Cute hotel with nice design. It's located on a very busy street with popular shops and pubs so expect some noise at night (though they do include earplugs in the room!) I don't mind the noise so I slept fine. Other than that I would caution any elderly folks or those with movement disabilities as the building is old and there are a lot of winding, often narrow stairs and halls to access the rooms. Overall, great stay and would recommend"

"Reception areas and room quality were good although the room we were allocated was very poorly located (dark and partly overlooked a raised platform and hotel reception - room 114.) However on request we were allocated an upgrade and the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean although water pressure in bathroom was poor. Staff in dining room and reception were professional and pleasant. Hotel location was less than a 10 minute walk to the town centre and railway station which is perfect for visitors arriving by train"
