"Except for the hallway, the room was very quiet. They were busy and many kids were in town, but unless the kids were running loudly past the door, we only heard them for the moment they passed by. All the noise was gone after 8pm. The room was clean and updated. It’s a short distance to the heart of Newport. We will stay here again. We are bimonthly visitors to the island, and have stayed in quite a few different hotels on Aquidneck Island. This is now one of our top two favorite combinations of “best stay for your dollar”. "

"I loved the quaint decor, quiet building, great location for shopping and downtown Newport. Found parking at the lot across the street to be easy and accessible. Great breakfast included in the morning."

"Great parking and location. Lovely room but adjustable hand held shower head kept falling off the rod. Breakfast was outstanding. "

"Decor of the rooms and hotel is beautiful. We had a very anoying industrial humming that we heard from our rooms, never stopped…all day, all night! We thought it was the airco,but it wasn’t. It was really disturbing. Made our stay a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice, though very slow, on Friday, today it was good. So all in all, we liked the hotel very much, but would reconsider staying again because of the noise. "
