"Rooms seriously need some TLC. Clean enough, but in my room, radiator valve just spins, bathroom light did not work, towel rail did not heat, bathroom door difficult to open, no shower gel or shampoo, car park lights shining through thin curtains. Chef/s excellent - great evening meal served by great staff. Breakfast was superbly cooked, but the quality of the ingredients were not great."

"The gym and pool were good but busy. It's a walk out of town, maybe 20 mins walk to the train station. Very nice staff, bar staff were particularly friendly and welcoming.
