"Context: I traveled solo, but I booked this hotel to visit my girlfriend. She stayed in my room for a few hours a couple nights.
While my experience was certainly bad with staff, it is not a reflection of ALL of the staff there. I'll start with the good.
Pros:
• while hotels are incredibly overpriced, it's about as cheap as you are going to find, and you get what you pay for.
• the room itself was fine. Clean, neat, private, good lighting, had a fridge and microwave, and I slept comfortably.
• Abundant parking close to entrance.
Cons:
• A particular staff member was incredibly unprofessional, grumpy, and disrespectful, and made a highly uncomfortable (and unprofessional) comment regarding my girlfriend and me.
• Hallway would smell like weed.
• Room cards were finicky, taking multiple swipes sometimes. I had to ask an employee to reset mine because my card stopped scanning on the second night.
• Poor management led to more people booking rooms (via 3rd party sites) than they physically had available, resulting in people being (and I cannot stress this enough) RUDELY turned away even if they had already paid online. I settled for whatever room they had available.
I had such a bad experience with the people here between that staff member and the other people staying (the energy was miserable) that I will not be coming back here again when I visit."
