Top New Ross Hotel Reviews
Talbot Hotel Wexford
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views out to sea. The rooms are tired and the bathroom in particular needs updating and some maintenance The bed is comfortable but they are using damaged duvets which is a bit weird. The rooms have no safe which I think they should have. The pool and spa area is fine but also needs updating and maintenance. Gym was excellent The bar area is superb and open late Breakfast is also fine and is a buffet The staff are delightful and extremely helpful Parking is plentiful and convenient Overall the hotel is good and I understand is undergoing a refurb, once that is done I’m sure it will be excellent"

"Staff were very friendly and attentive full marks. Breakfast was excellent local produce tried as much as possible but highly recommend the sausages, brown bread, yogurt and cheese. I’m not a breakfast person but this is probably the best I’ve had in any hotel."
Riverside Park Hotel and Leisure Club
8/10 Good
"We stayed in a family room, and the layout was genuinely well thought‑out — plenty of space and comfortable for all of us. That said, there was a huge iron burn right in the middle of the carpet, which is hard to miss, and the room safe didn’t work. Nothing disastrous, but definitely things the hotel should tidy up. The staff overall were excellent: friendly, helpful, and really welcoming. The only exception was the young lad on reception at check‑in. I mentioned that Expedia said “pay on arrival” even though my card had already been charged that morning, and instead of clarifying or passing it on, I got a confused stare and a vibe like I’d just asked him to solve quantum physics. Slightly awkward moment. Breakfast was genuinely fantastic — great quality and a highlight of the stay. Dinner, however, felt off: prices were on the high side, but the food didn’t match the cost. It wasn’t bad, just dated and not quite worth what they’re charging. Overall: good rooms, brilliant staff (bar one), excellent breakfast, but dinner needs a rethink and the room maintenance could be sharper."
WHITES OF WEXFORD
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely central hotel with free underground parking, everything clean and spacious. Lovely bar and lounge area, big bedroom with 2 beds one double and 1 single, tea and coffee in room and mini fridge with free water, iron an hairdryer in room, only little negative was chaotic breakfast, very busy, they ran out of plates. Then yogurts then fruit. Queues for coffee machines etc"
Ferrycarrig Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel. Our room looked brand new, with a sitting area, desk, huge shower, Nespresso machine. Unique modern furnishings. My favorite part is the wellbeing center - beautiful pool, aromatic steam and sauna, all spacious, natural light, with an exit to the outdoor terrace and river. I managed to watch the sunrise from the hot tub as it opens at 6:30. Friendly staff and excellent restaurant too - with extra starters and a very elegant menu. There is also a bar which also serves food, with a lot of seating outdoor with river view as well. I wish I stayed longer!"
