Pool area was awesome. Restaurant was amazing. Wifi/internet was rather slow and intermittent.

Distinction New Plymouth Hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff, easy parking and a central location. We had a two bedroom apartment. I enjoyed the dark, windowless bedrooms after a day hiking to the top of Mt Taranaki, they were very quiet.
