The room was filthy with trash and styrofoam all over the floor. The bathroom was dirty. The elevators were broken so we had to climb up to the third door with luggage using the staff stairs. And, the staff was apathetic at best. They certainly weren’t friendly or welcoming.

Shower was broken the shower head was just hanging and you had to hold it to take a shower, the toilet seat was very loose and the toilet base was wobbly. We also had a stain on the comforter the room had a very strong smell possibly cleaners but it didn’t smell good. Very dated hotel and the front desk didn’t always have someone there. Will not be staying there ever again. Possibly not even at a holiday inn again!

The room was nice and clean, but the common areas, hallways, and elevator had a terrible odor. Thankfully the room didn’t smell or we couldn’t have stayed. The front desk staff were courteous. I did like that they had Dove amenities in the bathroom. We didn’t have to unpack our toiletries bag.

Front desk staff was friendly, room was clean and exactly as pictured. Nice spot since it’s right by the freeway, I also loved that Waffle House was down the street.

The truth
Our stay was not so good because initially the front desk person was nice and accommodating to the best of her ability however once we made it to the room the bath wasn't clean there was hair in the shower and the shower curtain was moldy. For the entire state when I was in the room my head was stuffed up and there was like a a stale smell continuously. The pool that was indoors was closed because they say the water was too cold and at night time even though it was New Year's week it wreaked of marijuana at night time. The breakfast was legit and most of the staff didn't speak English but they were housekeeping however the English-speaking staff they were nice. This hotel can you some training and work and customer service, professionalism, and being more attentive to not only your guests but just the atmosphere of the hotel.

Poor quality
Check-in took over 40 minutes. One clerk was helping me and another came over and started using her computer, which took the 40 minutes. Then the keys didn't work and had them re-done. When I finally opened the door, the room was a mess and had not been cleaned. Then I was moved to another room and again the keys didn't work.

When checking in and out the front desk person stayed on their personal call on speaker phone. The electricity flickered on an off in our room and the light didn't work in the restroom. The shades on the lights were ripped. There was a soft rotten spot in the floor. The door knob needed to be replaced. The water coming out of the spigot was brown. Not a 2.5 star room at all.

Over priced
Staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Hotel is over priced. Typical Trucker hotel right off the highway. The entrance smell of mildew or of a previous flood. The entrance floors are old and need replaced. The carpet on the floors are horrible; old dirty looking, bubbled up and need to be taken up. I had a king suite which was to my surprise a nice suite. Looked like they did some renovations. The room was clean, working appliances & clean looking carpet. I will not return especially for the price.
